In a world profoundly disrupted by digital technologies and ever-changing geopolitical dynamics, London has one of the best ecosystem of start-ups in the world.

However, the European Union has to improve a lot for being a great digital power. A lot of opportunities exist for Europe and have to be put in practise.

After having presented the London ecosystem of start-ups and the international environment of big-tech companies in the US and Asia, we will present some ideas in order to “blitzscale” in Europe and being more competitive and efficient on the tech market.

A l’occasion de son lancement à Londres, le Cercle Orion organise son premier évènement dans la capitale britannique avec un invité de renom. Cette première soirée officialisera la naissance du Cercle Orion à Londres et sera l’occasion d’échanges à ce propos.

Né en 1967, Emmanuel GOLDSTEIN (Sciences Po/ENA/INSEAD) a commencé sa carrière au tribunal administratif de Paris. Il réussit ensuite à se hisser en quelques années au sommet du pouvoir en France grâce à un travail acharné et un talent remarquable. Devenu banquier à Morgan Stanley, il parvient à occuper des réseaux d’influence importants, qu’ils soient bancaire, médiatique, de la haute administration ou politique. Aussi à l’aise dans la gestion d’une fusion-acquisition que dans un cours à l’Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris, Emmanuel est souvent consulté et écouté par des décideurs publics de premier plan.

Emmanuel GOLDSTEIN (Sciences Po/National School of Administration/INSEAD) is one of the most influential bankers in London and Paris, managing director at Morgan Stanley. He has worked at the crossroads of politics and finance and will be hold a conference on his particular role in the banking sector. The Young HEC Graduates will be pleased to invite him in collaboration with Cercle Orion, think tank for young professionals who desire to have responsibilities and be aware of the international current challenges (cercleorion.com). This dinner will be an unique opportunity for HEC graduates in order to discuss with Emmanuel about their careers in finance but also on perspectives in London from a prospective point of view.
